Mandatory Practices Policy

Practices for the Carnival of Silver Skates are mandatory for those planning to participate in the performances. Any skater with an unexcused absence will not be allowed to participate in the Carnival performances. If a skater cannot attend a practice, including dress rehearsal from beginning through the finale, the skater or a parent must notify the instructor prior to that practice to have the absence excused. Whether or not absences will be excused will be at the discretion of the instructor and the Carnival of Silver Skates executive board. Those not allowed to participate in the Carnival performances will not be issued a refund of their registration fee.
