Church History & Art Show
On display will be the pastel drawings of George F. Wegner who
along with
his wife Clara were long-time Groton residents and members of the Groton
United Methodist Church. George was the father of Robert S. Wegner and the
grandfather of Larry, George and Bob Wegner, and Jeanne (Wegner) Wanous.
His two daughters are Margaret (Wegner) Kinnaman & Florence (Wegner) Miles
who are planning on
attending the weekend events.
There are over a dozen originals still in the possession of the Wegner
family, including a series of drawing of famous US presidents.
