Baseball and softball are popular summer activities in the Groton SD Community, highlighted by the impressive complex on the west side of town. The complex includes one main field and two smaller fields. Groton teams have a strong tradition of competitiveness and success, supported by a wide range of teams and dedicated coaches. Legion baseball, serving players ages 17–19, is proudly sponsored by the American Legion Post #39.

All other teams are under the auspice of the City of Groton. These teams include the following: Jr. Legion Baseball for ages 15-16; Jr. Teener Baseball for ages 13-14; Little League Baseball for ages 7-12; Softball for ages 7-18, and T-ball for ages 5-6.

The City of Groton offers advertising at the complex. If interested in participating, please print off the Groton Baseball Sign Contract and mail your signed contract along with payment. The City of Groton will provide a vinyl sign(s) approximately 6 feet by 4 feet in size (at City expense) to be attached to the fence(s) at the complex. Sign(s) will be continuously displayed from May to August.

• YOUTH (0-17) Free

• ADULT (18+) $5 per regular season games or $50 per season ticket

  • Season tickets can be purchased at City Hall or at the complex.

  • Season tickets are only for regular season games.
