Due to the warm weather, the skating rink is starting to melt. To preserve the ice for the Carnival of Silver Skates this Sunday, the rink will be closed to the public now through the weekend. Next week's temperatures are above 40 degrees, so there is potential of the rink being permanently closed for the rest of the season.
